RNFL (retinal nerve fiber layer) view
The RNFL view displays a circular retinal nerve fiber layer scan centered on the optic nerve head. The view includes the following viewports:
- The retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) scan is shown in the main (top-left) viewport.
- The SLO image is shown in the top-right viewport.
- The graph in the bottom-left viewport shows the thickness between the encoded ILM and NFL boundary layers (in μ) for the Temporal, Superior, Nasal and Inferior segments. The average depth between the layers is shown for the twelve sectors.
- The graphics in the bottom-right viewport show the average value of the section depth as quadrants and the average value of the depth as twelve sectors.
Because the RNFL scan is a circular scan, a circle representing the position of the scan, direction of the scan and a starting point is shown on the SLO image. The ILM boundary and retinal nerve fiber layer are identified in the RNFL viewport.
