About OCT views
The following OCT views are available for OPT studies with OCT/SLO multi-modality imaging:
- SLO Reference
- Explorer
- Radial
- 3D
- Retina
- Retina GCC (ganglion cell complex)
- ONH (optical nerve head)
- RNFL (retinal nerve fiber layer)
To apply one of these views, select View (top toolbar), then select an OCT View.
OPT studies with OCT/SLO multi-modality imaging usually include multiple presentation states from the manufacturer, corresponding to the retina, ONH and RNFL retinal scans. By default, all of the manufacturer presentations are selected in the Presentations panel when you view a study, ensuring that all of the encoded boundary layers are visible. Be aware that if you deselect any of the presentations, boundary data may be hidden and some of the options in the View Tools panel may be disabled.
In order to use an OCT view, be sure to select a series containing the corresponding retinal scan (retina, ONH or RNFL). Note that the scan type is shown in the description when you hover over a series. You can also create hanging protocols to automatically load series containing the corresponding retinal scan.
