Activities
A data lifecycle policy contains a sequence of activities to be performed on a series during its lifecycle. At least one activity must be specified.
An activity is constructed as an <activity verb> <activity parameters> sentence. The options available for the activity parameters depend on which activity verb is selected. The following verbs can be used in activities:

Retain |
Retain the series in the OptosAdvance repository for the specified period of time. Both the period value and time units must be specified. This activity can also be used to specify a timeout between other activities. |

Route |
Route the series to a specified DICOM Storage SCP. The DICOM Storage SCP must be defined in OptosAdvance as a Storage SCP device. |

Relocate |
Relocate the series to a specified location. The location must be defined as a Storage Tier endpoint. |

Recycle |
Enforce removal of the series from the OptosAdvance repository. If recycling is not requested, the series will eventually be removed from OptosAdvance according to the configured purging policy. |

Send an e-mail to the specified addressee with the specified subject. The series identity attributes are included in the e-mail content. |

TIFF Move |
Relocate a pathology Big TIFF image from its drop folder to the OptosAdvance repository. |
|
TIFF Convert |
Convert a pathology Big TIFF image to the DICOM Whole Slide Microscopy Series. |
